About Dale Sutherland

Buying cocaine and preaching Jesus. A unexpected combo.



For 29 years up until his retirement in August of 2013, Dale served as an undercover cop buying drugs and helping those with fewer opportunities rebuild their lives through his ministry work as a pastor. He lived in the difficult tension of locking people up physically and setting them free spiritually. Free from guilt, free from shame, free from sin, all because of what Jesus did on Calvary.

Jesus used him to be a light in some of the darkest places imaginable and he is now committed to sharing his experience and practical insights to help other believers do the same. Through his story and his work in Code 3 Association, his non-profit organization that brings citizens and cops together.
